Chairman

Enrique is a graduate of the Harvard Business School’s prestigious three-year Presidents Management Program (OPM), a world class program designed to improve leadership effectiveness, build strategic consensus, and gain the skills necessary for future success. He holds a Bachelors degree in Law, a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the IESE Business School and an Advanced Management Program (AMP/PADE) from IESE Business School. Since 2004, Enrique is the Chairman at ONEtoONE Corporate Finance Group and a member of multiple boards of directors. Enrique has previously worked as a Managing Director at Santander Private Banking and Managing Director at Fortis Bank Group in Spain and Portugal. International Chairman at The Mergers and Acquisitions Institute. Enrique is a renowned author of international business books and he is an international speaker. Also, Enrique is a professor at IE Business School lecturing courses on Investment Banking, Negotiation and Private Equity.

Carlos Martínez

General Manager

Carlos is a Telecommunications Engineer. After a first stage in the logistics department of the SMH group (Omega , Swatch, Rado , Tissot ), Carlos has spent practically his career in Private and Investment Banking. For over 20 years he has provided a technological approach in the continuing search for efficiency in production processes and customer service. He started at Banco Banif, where he helped from part of the, most prestigious, award winning marketing and private banking department. After integration with Banco Santander he was appointed Director of Data Base Marketing, taking responsibility for the design and implementation of CRM in the entity. He has been the Director of Business Intelligence at Fortis taking responsibility for all areas of business intelligence of the company, and after becomes Marketing Manager of Fortis group. He is one of the founders of ONEtoONE Corporate Finance, taking responsibility of the General Manager of the company.

Javier Toro

Javier has a Master of Science in Economics and Business from the University of Deusto and a MBA from IESE. He was the Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers of Corporate Finance, where he led the team of M&A and structured finance. He has 25 years of global experience, working with private clients and public institutions (government, World Bank, EBRD, etc.), in M&A (financial adviser at MBO, LBO, Sales), project funding, and Public-Private Partnerships in the global scope for private clients and public institutions (government, World Bank, EBRD, etc. ). His main areas of expertise are Accomodation, Roads, Ports, TICE, Transportation, Water, Energy, and consumer, where he has participated as an advisor to both public and private sectors. He has also been Idom Manager Engineering and Consulting SA.

Dominique Gazel

Managing Partner

Dominique received a Degree in Civil Engineer, from the French École des Mines de Nancy, with a MAB from HEC. Dominique has been working in the corporate & investment banking sector for several years, both in Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking and in BNP Paribas. She has been developing a sound knowledge of financial products, with an empahasis on corporate, as well as a strong credit analysis skills. Dominique has had the opportunity to use her expertise while working for the industrial group VATECH, and took part in its international development. From July 2008 until October 2013, she registered as Listing Sponsor (Asesor Registrado) on the Alternative Stock Market (MAB), a Spanish market structured to meet the needs for finance in expanding companies. Since the end of 2005 she has been working in ONEtoONE Corporate Finance.

Iliya Zogovic

Iliya P. Zogovic started his career restructuring, merging and successfully exiting one of the largest Sales and Marketing organizations in Latin America. He then transitioned into the Financial industry in Mexico and USA. His expertise includes business strategy, corporate restructuring, process engineering, and business operations. He combines this expertise with his knowledge of the financial industry to maximize value in every operation. Iliya has served as CEO of companies with international operations and sits on Boards in different industry sectors, in both Latin America and the USA. Iliya studied Mechanical Engineering in Mexico and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School OPM.

Antonio Díaz-Barceló

Managing Partner Real Estate

Antonio Díaz-Barceló holds an Engineering Degree by Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, a Bachelor in Business Administration by UNED, a Master of Business Administration by Georgetown University and a Cum Laude Ph.D. by Universidad Politécnica de Madrid which obtained, in 2008, the Manuel Alonso prize granted by the Madrid Association of Engineers and the Regional Government of Castille-La Mancha. He is the partner responsible for the real estate sector at ONEtoONE Corporate Finance and has over 25 years of experience in the real estate sector and in financial markets, having managed investments and divestitures totaling over €20 billion. He began his career as an auditor and consultant at Arthur Andersen and led, thereafter, the equity research departments for the real estate sectors at ABN AMRO in Madrid and London, and at BBVA. He has served as the director of Bankia business at Sareb and as director of corporate development and strategy at Acciona and Grupo Rayet as well as board member of Bestinver SASVB, Marina Port Forum and Rayet Geriatricos and as president of Georgetown Club of Spain. He has combined his professional experience with teaching on Real Estate Management at the Universidad San Pablo - CEU.

His professional career started in 1998, as a programming analyst in the generalist portal OZÚ, which would become Spain’s second leading portal, in terms of number of visits. Abraham later assumed technological leadership of the company, following the acquisition of 51% of Grupo Vocento. At this stage of his life, he experienced firsthand the launching and development process of a portal that would become one of the leaders in the Internet sector in Spain. Abraham, as a member of the founding team, assumed technological leadership (of great importance in an internet portal) and actively participated in all stages of the launch, development, maturity, and the eventual crisis of the dot com sector. He was also involved in the sale of Grupo Vocento. Abraham has been with ONEtoONE Corporate Finance since 2004, as the Director of Systems and Technology.

Brian Vella started his career with KPMG in Malta, where he qualified as a UK accountant (ACCA). After completing an MBA at Warwick Business School, he then joined PWC where he worked as a Transactions Advisory Senior Manager in both Moscow, Russia and Paris, France. Brian later joined EY in Germany, where he worked for 12 years, including 7 years as Transactions Advisory Partner. Before starting his career in ONEtoONE he served as Senior Director with Cavendish Management Resources, a leading provider of venture capital & management support for international small to medium-sized businesses. Brian is based in Dusseldorf, Germany. His expertise includes business acquisitions, divestments, capital raising, investor and target searches, exit readiness, due diligence, and restructuring.

Ana María Martos Martín

Ana María has a Degree in Economics from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and BA (Hons) in Business Studies from Oxford Brookes University (UK). She began her career in the audit department of Ernst & Young in Barcelona. After two years as an audit manager in the United States, in July 1999, she returned to Spain to join the team that created the Spanish department of Ernst & Young Transactions, where she remained for over 11 years. Before joining ONEtoONE she worked as an independent consultant for Mergers and Acquisitions. In her career, Ana Maria has managed consulting projects in restructuring transactions and lead multidisciplinary teams both domestically and internationally in sectors as diverse as telecommunications, healthcare, distribution, services, automotive, media, entertainment, renewable energy, logistics, insurance and general industry.

Antonio Caldentey

Senior Manager

Antonio holds a Bachelor in Management and Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from ESADE, Barcelona. Executive Programme in Corporate Finance from ESADE. Specializing in the fields of hospitality, tourism, engineering and media. He has participated in IPOs in the Alternative Investment Market, financing transactions for international expansion, and the process of refinancing of hotel chains. His previous professional experience experience comes from the tourism industry, specifically tour operators and ICT tourism companies. In 2008 he commenced his career with ONEtoONE.

Andrew Kessler

Andrew Kessler is a Partner in our New York City office with over 20 years of operational and investment banking experience. In 2009, Mr. Kessler founded Turning Earth, an integrated organics recycling company focused on producing biogas, compost and sustainable agriculture. Prior to launching Turning Earth, Mr. Kessler spent fifteen years as an investment banker holding senior positions as a corporate finance and mergers & acquisitions professional at various firms including HSBC, Waller Capital, Morgan Stanley and Duff & Phelps. He has executed equity, debt and M&A transactions across a diverse set of sectors and markets and has served in numerous corporate governance leadership roles. Mr. Kessler is an experienced public speaker and has significant experience in congressional, state and agency lobbying. He has published and authored a number of professional articles covering industry and financial topics. Mr. Kessler received his MBA at New York University’s Stern School of Business in 1997, graduating with Distinction and as a Dean and Stern Scholar. He received his BA in Economics and African Studies from the University of Virginia in 1992.

Alfonso Hernández

Alfonso is an M&A, valuation and corporate finance expert. Prior to joining ONEtoONE, he worked as Finance and Operations manager in an international steel manufacturing company where he gained important experience evaluating and streamlining the company’s projects and operations to boost cash flow. Afterwards, he joined Deloitte’s Corporate Finance practice in Mexico City where he participated in M&A buy-side and sell-side processes, valued in more than US$2B, working with multidisciplinary cross-border teams in all the stages of each process. After working with Coca-Cola’s biggest bottler worldwide in several M&A processes at Deloitte, Alfonso was scouted as M&A manager in Latam Autos an Australian public company where he was responsible for all M&A processes that the company carried out in Latin America; from the target’s valuation, coordination of all the advisors and closing of deals. In 2016, Alfonso co-founded QUOIN Consulting, a boutique M&A and Corporate Finance firm located in Mexico City, where he carried out several M&A, project finance and business advisory deals throughout Latin America.

Alexander studied at West Virginia University, where he graduated cum laude, with a concentration in finance. Alexander began his career at ONE to ONE Corporate Finance as a summer analyst in Madrid. Upon completion of his studies he accepted a full time role with ONEtoONE Corporate Finance USA in New York.

Alberto Baco

Partner

Alberto Bacó Bagué is currently a Partner at ONEtoONE Corporate Finance USA and is also an attorney, CPA, and entrepreneur, with a successful career in company turnarounds, restructuring and senior management in both public and private sector. He has also been recognized for his public speaking skills and has been invited to participate in important business forums around the world. He started working at a very early age at his family’s furniture manufacturing business, where he learned firsthand the importance of how companies must always adapt to global changes and competitive shifts. He is a firm believer that no company should disappear, just transform. After graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from the University of Puerto Rico he then acquired a CPA license and finished a Juris Doctor degree, ranking 4th out of 510 students to be licensed, a combination that has proven key to handle all business aspects. Since then he has held several positions in law firms, international accounting firms, government agencies and Board of Directors. Experiences during his career have led him to develop a competitive edge where he is quick to define a project’s path to success by creating unique solutions. Leadership positions as President of the Economic Development Bank, CEO of Marvel and Bohío International and Board seats in W Holdings, Assurant P.R and the Government Development Bank, among others, has diversified his experience permitting him to measure risk, act as mediator as well as to provide vision and guidance for execution and negotiation. He is an active member of the YPO international organization, a forum that has granted him the opportunity to develop strong leadership skills. At a local level, Bacó has held all head positions, including Chapter Chairman. In 2013 he was appointed Secretary of Economic Development and Commerce by the Governor of Puerto Rico, and in 2016, he also assumed responsibilities as Chairman and President of the Government Development Bank for Puerto Rico, positions he has held with great responsibility and success even during one of the most challenging times in Puerto Rico’s history. Under his guidance, Puerto Rico’s economy has embarked a journey into a second grand economic transformation, where knowledge and service impact and strengthen all industries, both traditional and emerging ones. During his career, Bacó Bagué has distinguished himself as an active supporter of the development of the venture capital and private equity industry in Puerto Rico, an endeavor he will pursue for the rest of his career life.

Antoine van den Abeele

Antoine van den Abeele has more than 25 years of experience in structuring and managing Private Equity investments and Corporate Finance operations. Prior to ONEtoONE, Antoine van den Abeele was Managing Partner of Clairfield International (Belgium) and Managing Partner of the Belgian operations of HALDER (now GIMV) a midcap buyout fund in the Benelux and Germany. From 1989 to 1993, Antoine was an Investment Manager and Associate Director of 3i France, the subsidiary of 3i (Investors in Industry) GROUP PLC, one of the largest European Private Equity firm. Antoine has managed and/or advised over 60 investments and divestments in the mid market industry.

Bernar attended Industrial Engineer School of Industrial Engineering Bilbao. He has accumulated experience over almost 30 years in various management positions in companies of information technology. During this period he worked in both national and international companies, and, over the past few years, has developed his work as a Strategic Business Consultant in ICT companies. He has extensive experience, in Spain and the EMEA, in Commercial Management, General multi, new business development, internalization processes, motivating teams and executive coaching. In recent years he has played roles in companies such as Baan Company, Unisys and Microsoft.

Brian Langenberg

Industry Manager

Brian first earned recognition from the Institutional Investor All-America Research Team in 1999 and he and/or his firm have earned subsequent awards in II along with the Wall Street Journal and Starmine. He has created several industrial sector research innovations including the seminal Multi-Industry Greybook (2001), ROIC based deal analysis, revenue component analysis and business unit trends. Buy side experience includes seven years high net worth advisory work and coverage of 70% of the S&P 500 at various points in time and he built a trade and recommendation track record of +750 basis points, 4X risk budget and a 60% win rate in 18 months at a large state pension. Formerly with Credit Suisse First Boston, Wachovia Securities and Ohio Public Employees Retirement System. Mr. Langenberg is a former Naval Intelligence officer with deep expertise in logistics, trade, and geopolitics. He made successful contributions in building country studies, expeditionary warfare planning, personnel security and intelligence collection and received the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal for service during Grenada in 1983. He is a member of the U.S. Naval Institute, Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), The American Legion, and the Navy League of the United States. A proven strategic thinker, leader and mentor, he has turned around a graduate business school, built a high profile speakers program, and currently serves as a Director of Power Source Technologies. Brian teaches strategy, security analysis and finance at Northeastern Illinois University and also serves in various capacities with the CFA Institute – Chicago as needed and is an adult leader in the Boy Scouts of America.

Calvin earned his MBA (Finance) from the Haskayne School of Business in Canada thereafter founding and building a respected management consultancy and M&A advisory with over two decades of excellence. Calvin’s work is recognized by The M&A Advisor (the leading industry association of New York, USA) as the Award Winner for their prestigious 2016 M&A Strategic Deal of the Year. IM&A Charterholder with the Institute for Mergers, Acquisitions & Alliances. As an accomplished executive and deal transaction veteran having 25 years’ experience and an established track record with over 250 successful engagements spanning M&A investment banking, business strategy and planning, workouts and turnarounds, valuations, investment value development, ESOP’s, process improvement, financial modelling, board facilitation, negotiations, executive coaching, succession planning, and corporate development, Calvin is known as an honest and challenging thought leader able to achieve consensus, build and coordinate diverse teams and drive forward with tenacity and a focus on value creation for business and complex deal transactions. Calvin’s undergraduate studies were focused on Political Science and Psychology and his early professional work was in valuations, corporate banking and entrepreneurial initiatives, including several private company investments, start-ups and turnarounds. Chris Bonnet

Industry Manager

Chris Bonnet has nearly 30 years experience as an investment banker, an entrepreneur and an investor. He has been a founder or co-founder of twelve companies in the areas of finance, consulting, retail/distribution and real estate. Mr. Bonnet has focused most of his career on small to mid-market technology and special situations companies, in the U.S. and Canada. He was most recently a Managing Director at two San Francisco-based investment banks. Prior to this, Chris was Managing Director at Red Herring, where he built and managed their research division. Mr. Bonnet also served as Director of Research at two investment banks in Canada, overseeing 15 analysts. Chris earned his Executive MBA at Concordia University, where he also received a B.A. in Science & Human Affairs.

Cipriano Gómez

Cipriano Gómez holds an Engineering Degree by Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, a PDD by IESE, Administration Short Executive Program by INSEAD and a Marketing Degree from Standford University. He has long experience as CEO of multinational, PE and family owned companies such as Cementos Molins, Grupo Levantina, Roquet Hydraulic, Tarmac. Moreover, he worked 12 years for Air Liquide in Europe, USA, and South America. He has a sound knowledge and expertise in company turnovers and strategic development, launching new business lines and managing joint ventures and M&A international processes, mainly in the construction and chemical sectors. Cipriano Gómez served four years as Chairman of the Spanish building materials producers associations UEPG, ANEFA y CEPCO.

Colin Lyne

Colin has an MBA from Warwick Business School (UK), a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Diploma in Marketing. He has over 25 years M&A and corporate finance experience having led well over 100 transactions as principal. Colin is experienced in all aspects of corporate finance including acquisitions, disposals, MBOs, Private Equity, P2Ps and equity and debt fundraising. He has extensive experience as a plc main board director and as Corporate Development Director of private equity backed businesses and has held some 150 directorships in the UK and other European countries. Colin has broad sector experience with a specific emphasis on the business and industrial services; facilities management; engineering and smart energy sectors. He has extensive international experience and has travelled and done business in over 50 counties of the world. Colin specialises in European cross-border M&A and in particular transactions between the UK and Spain. He is a tenacious and highly skilled negotiator with a proven track record who intuitively understands a buyer’s or seller’s motivation and is able to deliver a compelling rationale to the counterparty - consistently leading to higher deal values and successes for his clients.

Daniel Gillet

Daniel Gillet is a Seasoned International Executive with more than 30 years experience in Strategy and Management consultancy for mid and large corporations. He spent 25 years at Accenture from which 15 years as partner, where he built and operated various practices, the Capital Markets practice for Benelux, the Strategic Services practice and the Banking practice for Core Europe, and was Board Member of The European Capital Markets practice. The last years, Daniel has been active in Strategy and Management Consultancy, mainly for companies searching excellence in Business-to-Business models in various sectors. He serves at the Board of Asset manager Candriam Investors Services (New York Life), Private Equity firm Partech Ventures Entrepreneurs, and YPO/WPO European Board.

Darin Bifani

Darin Bifani is a founder of Cape Horn Investment Advisory, an advisory firm based in Santiago, Chile. Previously he was Managing Director for Cushman & Wakefield Capital Asia, a real estate investment banking and asset management firm based in Hong Kong. He has also worked as an attorney for several international industrial and financial groups and law firms, including GE Capital, Lehman Brothers and Sullivan & Cromwell. In total, he has worked on hundreds of matters in over 20 countries. Apart from transactional work, he has served as a speaker at different conferences, written two books and published numerous articles on business, investment and financial topics. Dimitar Vartigov has a banking background and brings 16 years of local and international investment experience, as also 12 years of C-level operational experience. He was advising international institutional and private investors on fund and direct investments, general asset management, M&A, LBO, due diligence, portfolio company leadership. Dimitar is co-founder and was CEO at Health&Wellness REIT, one of the biggest publicly traded investment trusts on BSE. Dimitar brought a strong investment track record and network. Before joining Health&Wellness REIT Mr. Vartigov has served as a board member and advisor to handful public and pre-public companies. Seasoned professional in securitization he took part in the structuring of disposals and originations of certain loans through public securitization entities. Dimitar is a co-founder and member of the Institute of Certified Financial Consultants. Currently he is Lecturer in Mutual and Investment Funds at the Institute of Certified Financial Consultants (ICFC).

Dominica Mazzucchelli Mtz-Cubells

Dominica Mazzucchelli has a Law degree and a Master's Degree in Stock Exchanges and Financial Markets from the Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles, Madrid. She joined ONEtoONE Corporate Finance in 2011 as a member of the Legal and Compliance Department. Since then she has provided legal advice to the ONEtoONE Network, has helped with the implementation of processes, tools, and documentation regarding legal matters, and has assured compliance with instructions within the company.

Doug Gregory

Doug Gregory received his MBA from University of Chicago in 1985 and started his career with General Motors in the Treasurer's Office in New York. He has subsequently held increasingly responsible positions in investment banking, private equity and corporate development, with such notable firms as Prudential Financial, ADP, Janney Montgomery Scott and BOC/Airco Industrial Gases. Acting as both a principal and adviser, Mr. Gregory has consummated over 50 transactions (acquisitions, divestitures and JV’s, both domestic and internationally) totaling $6 billion in value. His most notably achievement was as an SVP at Prudential where he designed and implemented an inorganic growth initiative that was largely responsible for a tripling of Prudential's stock price. Current CEO leadership in a software start-up, in concert with strategic advisory roles with several promising start-up and early stage companies, has provided complementary operational and entrepreneurial management experience.

Since 2004, Enrique is the Chairman at ONEtoONE Corporate Finance Group and a member of multiple boards of directors. Enrique has previously worked as a Managing Director at Santander Private Banking and Managing Director at Fortis Bank Group in Spain and Portugal. International Chairman at The Mergers and Acquisitions Institute. Enrique is a renowned author of international business books and he is an international speaker. Also, Enrique is a professor at IE Business School lecturing courses on Investment Banking, Negotiation and Private Equity.

Eduardo Segovia Martín

Eduardo is a Senior Technical in both Application Development and in Management Information Systems, by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Madrid. He began his career as an analyst programmer for Convierta Comercialización, a company specialized in e-commerce, where, for nearly four years, he developed and managed virtual stores as well as microsites and corporate websites. Later he joined at Grupo Plantel, a company dedicated to the telemarketing industry. Currently, he is part of the IT department of ONEtoONE Corporate Finance.

Enrico Gamalero

Enrico holds a Degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Turin in Italy. Over 15 years of experience as Financial and General Management of multinational groups and international family companies in different sectors like automotive (Fiat), packaging-bottling (Guala), technical-sports surfaces (Mondo). He has demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of integrated management systems ERP (SAP, Baan, Microsoft Dynamics), crossborder to Purchasing - Logistics - Sales - Finance functions, typical of development and consolidation of big companies, and in Business Process Outsourcing. He also is the Manager of multicultural international companies, with a strong profile, and is highly adaptable to different environments, markets, and corporate cultures. He works fluently in five languages: Italian, English, French, Spanish and Catalan. In the last three years Enrico has developed his activity as a personal and executive coach, before joining ONEtoONE as Industry Expert.

Federico holds a Degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Bologna - Italy and he has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the IESE. He began his career in London at Gemini Consulting, an international management consulting company, now part of Ernst and Young. In 1998 Federico became founder/partner of Valore Impresa Srl, a management consulting company based in Italy, that specializes in SME’s with a focus on Finance, Marketing and Strategy. Federico is particularly active in project finance, corporate finance and family business. He is very familiar with the “Made in Italy”, Hotel and Tourism, Mechanics and Mobility Industry. Francisco holds a PhD in Economics and Business Administration from the Universidad Complutense of Madrid, with a focus in Financial Economics of the Enterprise and Financial Markets. He also received a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the Institute for Executive Development (IEDE), Course of International Financial Management from the CECO Foundation, and Degree in Political Science and Sociology from the Universidad Complutense of Madrid. Professor of Financial Economics of the Enterprise in the Faculty of Economics and Business, at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and Research Analyst at the Economic and Social Institute, University of Alcala de Henares. In his professional career Francisco has consulted on feasibility plans, restructuring in multiple sectors, worked as a technical adviser in the State Administration, has been a conference speaker at several finance seminars and co-authored the book "Understanding the processes of merger and acquisition of Spanish unlisted companies in 1999-2006”.

Federico Cuevas

Federico is an Economic Analysis and Corporate Finance expert. He has extensive experience in developing complex financial models for valuation and project finance. Before joining ONEtoONE, Federico co-founded a corporate finance boutique consultancy that merged with QUOIN consulting which in turn was acquired by ONEtoONE. He has led numerous projects regarding business valuation, Buy-Side and Sell-Side mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt raising activities, and project finance models for infrastructure developments. During his university studies (ITAM, Economics) Federico also co-founded Colegio Misiones, a middle and high school designed, where he still teaches calculus and economics.

Gregory Shalov

Gregory Shalov is a Partner in our New York City office and has over twenty years experience in investment banking, operations, and venture capital in various industries including food and consumer, hardware and software technology, unified collaboration as well as traditional infrastructure companies. Prior to joining ONEtoONE Gregory co-founded and ran Nourish Snacks, a “better for you” snack food company as well as JumpHawk, a provider of search optimization software company for local service businesses. Gregory has also invested in and run business development for Rethink, Inc. a software company that provides a unique online education to educators of special needs children and Revolabs, a provider of high-end audio equipment for the unified collaboration space. Gregory helped build these companies from inception to successful stable businesses and worked on fund raising as well as the sale of Revolabs to Yamaha. Gregory started his career as an analyst at Warburg Dillon Read (now UBS)in the Food and Consumer Group and worked on the sale of Weight Watchers, the purchase of Favorite Brands, the Sale of Nabisco and Nabisco Group Holdings among other transactions. Gregory holds his bachelors degree in economics and history from Oberlin College, graduating Phi Beta Kappa as well as receiving the Comfort Starr prize for academic excellence in both history and economics. Gregory now lives in Westchester, NY with his wife, four children and dog and enjoys doing construction projects with his children.

Guy van der Heyden offers a background in investment banking, corporate law and business advising to potential partners. Previously associated with four investment banking firms, Guy initiated and closed numerous transactions for middle-market businesses. He has also acted as an advisor to boards of directors. Prior to beginning his career in investment banking, Guy was a banker with Nomura Securities and an auditor at PWC. He has over 25 years of experience in supporting clients in financial communications, investor relations, corporate and marketing communications and issues management drawing from his experience in banking, real state, brokerage, consulting and high technology companies. Prior to successfully completing a Management Buy Out of Piniés & Aguilar with his long time partner, Jaime de Piniés, in July 2008 from Huntsworth plc, Guzmán was Managing Director of The Global Consulting Group (now Grayling Global). Previously, he was vice president at Golin/Harris International. His previous experience includes being managing director and CFO for Smart Card Systems, a Spanish start up specializing in the design and manufacture of electronic devices using chip card technology and focused on the Internet. Prior to that Guzmán served at Banco Credipás, a Spanish private bank where he had been manager of the international division specialized in management portfolio, investment fund management and public debt trading. He has also served at Korn Ferry and Master Consulting as a consultant in executive search and marketing. Prior to joining One to One, Hilario served as managing partner of Southland Group advising shareholders, companies and family owned business throughout Latin America in various industries including, financial, real estate/hospitality, energy, agro-industrial and pharmaceuticals. Prior to that Hilario established and served as a co-head of the Latin America investment banking practice at UBS Wealth Management Group in New York. Hilario was Director and Board member of SISCO S.A. a privately owned industrial group, with operations throughout Central America focusing on the execution of multiple projects dealing with consumer products and logistics. He also has invested and worked in business development roles for various ventures in the E-Learning, Beauty & Personal Care & Real Estate space. Hilario started his career as a financial analyst following the financial sector in Latin America, writing and publishing research reports, rating bonds, debt instruments and bank stocks at various institutions such as Bear Stearns, Standard & Poor’s in New York and Kleinwort Benson in London. He started his professional career in the Marketing department of Banco Banif (private banking), where he worked in the execution of customer acquisition strategies until he joined ONEtoONE in 2006. During this years he assumed new responsibilities and, currently, manages deal execution. Ignacio has been involved in transactions, in a wide range of industries including: renewable energy, broadcasting, facility services, advertising, animal feed, packaging, etc. Moreover, he has extensive experience in Capital Markets, and has advised six companies through their IPO in the Spanish alternative investment market.

Iliya Zogovic

Iliya P. Zogovic started his career restructuring, merging and successfully exiting one of the largest Sales and Marketing organizations in Latin America. He then transitioned into the Financial industry in Mexico and USA. His expertise includes business strategy, corporate restructuring, process engineering, and business operations. He combines this expertise with his knowledge of the financial industry to maximize value in every operation. Ivan Metanov

Ivan absolved his Master Degree in Economics at the St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo as well as his Master Degree in Forestry. Apart from this he worked several years at the State Fund Agriculture, first as an Expert in the European Financing Department and later on as Chief Expert in the Department of Application of Rural Development Measures. Jim Stone is a Partner in our Washington, DC office and has over 20 years experience in investment banking with a focus on the technology sector with expertise in the financial, healthcare, outsourcing and software sectors. Prior to joining One to One, Jim founded and ran for 9 years Converge Capital, a specialty advisory firm focused on private equity and middle market businesses. While there, he closed successful buyside engagements with several private equity funds including Westview Capital and Parthenon Capital. He also advised several private equity firms and middle market companies on the sale of portfolio companies. Jim has also been a Partner and Managing Director at other investment banking firms including Bank of America Securities. Prior to investment banking, Jim was Vice President of Corporate Development at Affiliated Computer Services and was an associate at the law firms of Kirkland and Ellis as well as WilmerHale. Jesús Vallejo Rubio has the degree in Business Administration (E-2) by ICADE. He is actually working as a Property Industry Expert in ONEtoONE Corporate Finance and he collaborates as an independent professional (freelance) in different companies: Aguirre Newman Valoraciones y Tasaciones and Agrupación Técnical del Valor in the valuation of properties related to an economic activity, buildings and piece of lands. He started his professional career in 1988 in the company Nacional de Reaseguros where he developed for 12 years different responsibility functions within different areas, such as technical, commercial, financial and international. He has a good knowledge of the textile sector and has a wide experience within the family business since he was the president of the family company Manufacturas Vallejo during a period of 3 years. He also has a wide knowledge of Real Estate as he was for 10 years member of the board of directors in Edivalsa, company focused on real estate. In 2002 he started to work for Tasamadrid, developing important valuations of properties (industrial, services and cultural properties) throughout the country. He also has an important experience within international real estate valuations. From the year 2012 until the 2017 he has been working as a freelance and collaborating with the Instituto de Valoraciones. He also was working on the teaching field in Escuela del Seguro which belong to UNESPA.

Laura Catalan

She obtained a Master’s degree in digital marketing strategies from the Universidad Complutense of Madrid. Her professional career began in Tecniberia Spanish Association of Engineering, Consulting, and Technology Services, within the Department of Communication. Laura has worked on various digital media projects as well. She joined ONEtoONE Corporate Finance in 2012, as a member of the Marketing and Communication Department, and since then has written and distributed news releases, responded to media inquiries, produced newsletters and brochures for public relations, and manages the company’s website and social media presence.

Joao is a certificated account by DGCI. Since 1994 he has been working as an independent M&A advisor; during this period he collaborated with several M&A companies namely, NBB National Business Brokers, Sartorial, an Asset Management Company where he was responsible for Distress Restructuring and Business Recovery and Yunit Corporate (a company that belonged to two major Portuguese banks) where he was responsible for the business brokerage area. Mr. Li currently serves as Vice President of ONEtoONE based in Shanghai and has nearly 20 years of professional experiences in management consulting, investment banking and investments in the US and China. Mr. Li started his career as an engineering consultant for over 10 years with China IPPR (Institute of Project Planning & Research) Engineering Corp, a leading Chinese state owned institution, and engaged on over 100 national-level engineering consulting projects involving general electronic and machinery sectors in China. Shortly after his MBA, Mr. Li joined as an associate with Gotham Consulting Partners LLP., a top tier management consulting firm based in New York, providing merger and synergies analysis, integration planning and operations improvement consulting services to private equity clients and corporations in the US. Mr. Li subsequently joined Ashir Capital, a boutique investment bank based in New York, focused on executing reverse merger and IPO advisory for Chinese companies seeking to access the US equities market. Before joining ONEtoONE, Mr. Li served as Deputy General Manager of business development and investments for Beijing Sino-Ocean Investment Group Co., Ltd., the affiliated investment arm of a leading State owned shipping and container conglomerate in China. His key responsibilities there included strategic assessment and execution of the firm’s investments projects spinning modern agriculture, clean energy, media, education sectors both in domestic and overseas markets.

Lorenzo Cai

Loïc Sacré

Loïc Sacré started his career in Investment Banking by working as a trainee at BNP Paribas Fortis in the Corporate Acquisition Finance and Corporate Finance Departments. Loïc has a strong interest for financial markets and financial services sector. During his studies, he made a five month internship in buy-side financial analysis at KBL European Private Bankers. Loïc holds a Msc in Business Administration from ICHEC Brussels Management School and Louvain School of Management. Loïc also serves on the Board of ICHEC Alumni. Vicente Bosque has a Degree in Chemical Sciences from the Universidad Autónoma of Madrid, a Master's degree in Quantitative Methods and Finance from the EOI, PADE from IESE, and has a diploma from the Institute of Political Studies. He has over 28 years of experience in top level executive positions in companies with diverse shareholder structures including multinational companies, cooperatives societies, and in more recent years family businesses. He has ample experience in business development and restructuring processes that include different types of corporate activities, such as the launch of new businesses, the creation of "joint ventures", development of "spin offs", mergers and acquisitions of companies or business units in various countries and sectors, hotel management, food processing and retail of luxury goods. In recent years he has held executive responsibilities as the CEO in Gastón y Daniela (1997/09) and Pascual (1992/97).

Vincent Geuens

Vincent has more than 25 years of experience in corporate finance & transaction. He obtained his MSc commercial engineering from the Louvain School of Management and has a certificate from GUBERNA (organisation for Board members). He previously worked in the banking industry (Paribas and ABN-AMRO) and at EY (ex Ernst & Young) where he was involved throughout his whole career in corporate & transaction activities. His experience encompasses public offering of equities and securities, mergers, acquisitions, private placement, valuation, …. Vincent has worked in diverse industries including Aerospace & aviation, automotive, food & beverage, retail & consumer goods, construction, chemical, IT, media, telecom, Health Sciences and services. He has an excellent understanding of the Belgium market. He is a French native and speaks English and Dutch. He has 3 children.

Ximena Fernández

Ximena received a Bachelor of Administration and Finance with honors from the Universidad Panamericana in Mexico. She also received a Master in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking from the Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles(IEB). Ximena completed her education with the specialization program in Risk Management and Options Futures, offered by the IEB. Her career began as a consultant in IT, with Everis and Bearing Point. With ONEtoONE, she has worked in multiple industries leading Acquisitions, Corporate Sells, Mergers, and delisting companies from Stock Exchanges.

Xavier Hernaiz

Partner

Degree in International Relations from the University Anáhuac (Mexico), Specialist in Ecosystems of Entrepreneurship and Innovation from the University of Salamanca (Spain), and Diploma in Mergers and Acquisitions from ITAM University (Mexico). He has developed most of his professional career in administrative management of new projects and supervision of retail logistics for an international company leader in the Mexican market of articles for domestic and industrial security. He has extensive experience in the analysis of entrepreneurial ecosystems, business models and strategic analysis of investment funds. He is currently a member of several Boards of Directors.

David Rodríguez

Senior Advisor

David received a Degree in Business Administration, as well as a PDE Master from Instituto de Empresa in Madrid. After two years in the advertising and marketing industry, he has developed a majority of his career in Private Banking and Financial Advisory. Before joining ONEtoONE in April 2005, as a Capital Partner, he worked with AB Asesores and Morgan Stanley for six years. David also has taught several courses and has given several conferences related to financial investments, the stock market, financial products, mergers, acquisitions and the valuation of companies.
