In 2004, a Management Buy-Out (MBO) was carried out in which the management team of DMR Consulting Spain acquired the company from its then-owner, Fujitsu, headquartered in Tokyo. The transaction, valued at approximately €70 million, took place in the Information Technology (IT) sector with its operational base in Madrid. Fernando Lacaba actively participated in the analysis and structuring of the transaction as part of the executive committee. After the acquisition, the company was renamed Everis, beginning a new phase of independent growth.
