Advised on the acquisition of Middle East Market Research Bureau (MEMRB) by Nielsen. Took part in all the stages; from target identification, valuation, negotiation, due diligence, closing and the post-merger integration. This was the most strategic and successful acquisition by Nielsen in Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa. MEMRB was Nielsen’s biggest competitor in the region and the acquisition allowed Nielsen to become the dominant player in one of the fastest growing regions and increase its margins and company value exponentially.
