Post-graduate degree in International Relations with a focus on Energy, Environment, Science & Technology from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (Bologna / Washington D.C.). Law degree from the University of Hamburg, Germany.

Worked for 15+ years on both the buy and sell side of utility-size renewable energy transactions (i.e. for Independent Power Producers, EPC companies, developers and turbine manufacturers). Has led due diligence and negotiations of all relevant acquisition contracts (SPA, EPC, PDA) as well as technology-related contracts (supply contracts, O&M). Has worked out of Hamburg, Germany between 2004 and 2020 for transactions in France, Poland, Sweden, Italy, Romania, Ukraine and Egypt and has since grown private and professional roots in Costa Rica.

Traineeship in a German public bank. Acquisition of French wind energy project pipeline as assistant to CFO of developer EPURON GmbH and subsequent sale of French projects to European bond structured by HypoVereinsbank (UniCredit). Worked as an independent consultant for 6+ years.
