Alain Dushimimana began his career in Personal Banking at BNP Paribas before transitioning to their Investment Banking division as an Off-Cycle Analyst. He later joined Berenberg as an Investment Banking Analyst, where he was involved in a wide range of equity capital market transactions, including IPOs, private placements, and rights issues. Subsequently, he served as an M&A Associate at Corporate Finance International, specializing in sell-side M&A transactions.
Alain holds an Advanced Master in Financial Markets from the Solvay Brussels School, completed while working full-time, and a Bachelor in Business Management from the University College of Ghent. His expertise spans valuation, financial analysis, and deal execution from origination to closing.
A native speaker of Dutch, French, and Kinyarwanda, and fluent in English, Alain combines analytical rigor with strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills. Beyond his professional experience, he is an entrepreneur, athlete—having completed two marathons and an Ironman 70.3—and an active volunteer.
