Graduate in Economic and Business Administration from CUNEF and Graduate in Law from the European University of Madrid. He began his career in San Francisco, United States, at the multinational telecommunications company Airtouch.

He has served as financial director for Spain and Portugal of the British multinational Bovis Lend Lease. For more than 25 years, he has held positions of highest management responsibility in multinational companies in the telecommunications sector, such as Airtel, Vodafone, Jazztel and Orange. With a solid financial background, extensive international experience, and proven experience in start-up projects and the integration of companies, he has successfully led the most relevant M&A deals in the telecommunications sector in Spain in the last few years.

Luis is also an expert in project financing in all its modalities Project Finance, EIB financing, Structured Finance, etc., having participated in financing projects in all sectors.

He has been for many years an Associate Professor of the Department of Business Economics at Carlos III University, a Professor of Financial Economic Management at IE Business School, and a Professor of the MBA program at the Pontifical University of Salamanca. He is currently a Member of the Association’s board of directors AEEF.
