Brian is a highly experienced corporate finance advisor with more than 20 years of expertise in mid-market transactions. Prior to this, he spent 18 years with KPMG in consulting and corporate finance roles, building a deep understanding of strategic financial management.
Throughout his career, Brian has successfully completed more than 100 transactions, including business sales, acquisitions, management buyouts (MBOs), management buy-ins (MBIs), and fundraising. The majority of these deals have ranged between £1 million and £50 million in value.
His sector experience is diverse, spanning aerospace, software, legal, telecoms & IT, building services, manufacturing, food & drink, and industrial services. Brian has played a key role in leading multiple acquisitions as part of client buy-and-build strategies and has provided expert valuations across a wide range of businesses. His expertise has also been called upon in court as an expert witness.
In addition to his corporate finance expertise, Brian has served in various governance roles, including six years as a Non-Executive Director for a venture capital firm (MSIF), a board member at Liverpool Chamber of Commerce, and as a Governor and Chair of Finance at Liverpool John Moores University.
