Jeremy is a commercial and strategy leader with over 15 years of experience across the energy value chain, spanning green hydrogen, renewable energy and upstream oil & gas. His career combines deep experience in Malaysia’s energy sector with international project development across Europe and North Africa. He specialises in commercial strategy, investment, valuation, offtake, and project finance.

Most recently, as Principal Commercial at Fortescue, Jeremy led commercial workstreams for large-scale green hydrogen and ammonia projects across Europe and North Africa. He developed market-entry and offtake strategies, structured strategic partnerships, and contributed to securing approximately EUR 200 million from the EU Innovation Fund.

Previously, Jeremy spent 12 years at Shell in Malaysia across various technical and commercial roles. In his last position as Valuation Lead, he led a team supporting capital allocation and strategic planning, as well as leading commercial negotiation on gas and liquids sales agreements worth up to USD 1.5 billion. Jeremy began his career at Shell as a Process Engineer, delivering upstream projects from concept select through engineering design and operations.

Jeremy holds an MSc in Corporate Finance from Kedge Business School and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Curtin University of Technology. He is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) with the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE). He is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Malay, and has conversational proficiency in French.
