Simon R. Barth holds a degree in Business Administration with a specialization in International Business from Universidad EAFIT, a Master’s in Finance from Universidad de los Andes, and advanced certifications in Valuation from New York University’s Stern School of Business (graduating with high honors), Negotiation from Harvard University, and Real Estate Investment Strategies from Columbia Business School (USA).
His professional experience is centered around the valuation, negotiation, and acquisition and sale of companies across multiple Latin American markets.
Simon served as a Finance professor at EAFIT University for eight years, is a member of various Boards of Directors, and is a Partner in several companies.
He was named one of Colombia’s 500 top business leaders by Nota Económica magazine.
His primary interests include economic policy, capital markets, real estate in the North American market, and distressed companies.
Simon has completed transactions in industries such as restaurants, pastries, chemical wholesale distribution, ingredients, food, BPO, call centers, software development, information technology, construction, pharmaceuticals, dental, electrical, and auto parts.
